Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore invites application for the following job position on contract basis.
1. Cadre: Programmer
2. No of Post: 05
3. Salary: Proposed Salary range per month Rs.50,000/-
4. Qualification: MCA/M.Tech (CS/IT)/ BE/B.Tech (CS/IT)/ M.Sc (CS/IT)
4. Skill set/ Responsibilities: DOT NET-C#. MS SQL Server DB, Web Services, WCF, SSRS & SSIS. e-payment Gateways integration, SMS & e-mail Gateway integration, mobile app compliance using BOOTSTRAP.
5. Contract period initially is for one year. Based on their performance, it will be continued for 2 more years.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is a government organization in the state of Karnataka, India. It was established to conduct various entrance exams for admissions into professional courses offered by institutions in the state.
The KEA is responsible for conducting exams such as the Common Entrance Test (CET) for undergraduate courses like engineering, medical and dental, the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions to MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech and M.Arch courses, and the Diploma CET for admissions to diploma courses.
Apart from conducting exams, the KEA also facilitates the counseling process for admissions into various courses, and manages the seat allotment process.
The primary objective of the Karnataka Examination Authority is to ensure fair and transparent selection of candidates for admission into professional courses, and to promote merit-based admissions.
