Age Limit:Minimum 18 years. General: Max 40 years; 2A/2B/3A/3B: Max 43 years; SC/ST/Category-1: Max 45 years. Age relaxation for other categories as per Government of Karnataka rules.
Salary (per month):
Pay Scale: ₹34,100 - ₹67,600 per month, plus allowances and NPS benefits as per Government rules.
Selection Procedure:
Application Fee: ₹750 (General/2A/2B/3A/3B); ₹500 (SC/ST/Category-1/Ex-Servicemen/Third Gender); ₹250 (Special Chetana/PwD candidates). Fee must be paid online.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is a government organization in the state of Karnataka, India. It was established to conduct various entrance exams for admissions into professional courses offered by institutions in the state.
The KEA is responsible for conducting exams such as the Common Entrance Test (CET) for undergraduate courses like engineering, medical and dental, the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) for admissions to MBA, MCA, M.E, M.Tech and M.Arch courses, and the Diploma CET for admissions to diploma courses.
Apart from conducting exams, the KEA also facilitates the counseling process for admissions into various courses, and manages the seat allotment process.
The primary objective of the Karnataka Examination Authority is to ensure fair and transparent selection of candidates for admission into professional courses, and to promote merit-based admissions.
