Educational Qualification:
Professor: 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry the concerned discipline from SAU/ SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university. 2. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed in concerned /allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university.
Associate Professor: 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university. 2. A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed in concerned /allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized university.
Assistant Professor: 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU/ Deemed University or any other recognized university. 2. A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST) (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned /Allied subject from SAU/SVU/Deemed University or any other recognized University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

Age Limit: The candidates should have not crossed 35 years of age in case of General Merit, 38 years of age in case of OBC and 40 years in case of SC, ST and Cat–I category candidates as on the last date of submission of application.
