Educational Qualification: Candidates with First Class Masters of Computer Science or Equivalent. Desirable Qualification: Building software or user interfaces for citizen science programmes. Experience in content management, knowledge in web softwares. Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross browser and cross platform compatiability, firewalls, Access, MySQL and Javascript, etc., skill in developing innovative technologies for existing and future citizen science and outreach programmes. Ability in trouble shooting, handling security issues. Knowledge in database management, contentereation and writing skills.
Experience: Minimum one year experience in design and management of websites. Servers, social media sites and good knowledge in content management systems and technology infrastructures.

Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) was established in 1975, in Thrissur, Kerala. KFRI became a part of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) in 2002. The Institute was founded with sole purpose of research in tropical forestry, environment and biodiversity conservation. KFRI campus is located at Peechi, around 20 kms from Thrissur.
