The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Consultant- Technical on contract basis from retiring/retired officer of the State Govt./Central Govt/Public Sector Undertaking with experience in the power sector and exposure to regulatory functions. The minimum qualifications, desirable experience etc. required for applying to be considered for this engagement, is given alongside.
1. Name of the Post: Consultant(Technical)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Essential: B Tech Degree in Engg
4. Desirable: MBA with specialization in Finance.
5. Experience: Not less than 25 years' experience in the Power Sector including atleast 10 years experience in Regulatory matters dealing with Electricity Regulatory Commissions.
6. Nature of appointment: On contract Initially for a period of one year but extendable on mutual agreement basis.

The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission was constituted under the provisions of Subsection (1) of Section 17 of the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998. With effect from 10th June 2003, the Commission has come under the purview of the Electricity Act, 2003, as the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 has since been repealed.
