Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification of a Master's degree in History.

Experience: Prior research experience in the field of history, culture, anthropology, or related areas is highly desirable. Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection techniques, and archival research will be an advantage.

State Universities Act, 1973 now adopted by Uttarakhand State) with the merger of two Government Colleges, D.S.B. Government P.G.College, Nainital and Almora Government P.G. College, Almora.
