Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Assistant Professor
- Essential Qualification: The eligibility criteria are the same as prescribed for regular Assistant Professors in UGC Regulations as adopted by the University of Delhi.
- API Score: Candidates must have a minimum API Score of 55 marks and above (relaxation of 5 marks for SC/PwBD candidates).
- Shortlisting: Based on a 100-point scale covering academic record, M.Phil./Ph.D., NET/JRF, research publications, teaching experience, and awards.
- Experience: Experience rendered on Temporary/Adhoc/Contractual/Postdoctoral basis is counted only if the salary was not less than the minimum basic pay prescribed by UGC plus applicable DA. Guest faculty experience is not considered.
