Educational Qualification:
1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
2) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR (exemption from NET shall be granted in accordance with clauses (ii) & (iii) of General Note in the last section of this document).

Lakshmibai College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi and is well-connected through several metro stations and bus-routes. The college is proud of its red-brick buildings, lawns adorned with trees and flowers, well-maintained sports grounds, staff-quarters, wireless Internet access under the University Wide Networking Programme, separate Internet connectivity, supplementary audio-video gadgets, two air conditioned lecture theatres, a furnished seminar room, a modern fully automated library using Libsys software, two well-equipped computer labs and an active placement cell. The library has undergone renovation and now has its own computer unit catering to the students and teaching faculty. The library is fully automated and is endowed with OPAC and scanner-guns for greater efficiency. The college is inclusive in its intent and actions, therefore SAFA is loaded on the systems of the computer lab for differently-abled students to help them learn typing skills. Wi-Fi connectivity has also been provided to the lab.
The University of Delhi has provided free lap-tops to all FYUP students and generated E-mail Ids for all of them. The institution has purchased original ORACLE IOG /IIG /WINDOWS 2000 server edition and online examination forms are handled through the DUCC Wi-Fi networking programme to ensure transparency.
