Educational Qualification:
Administrative Officer: Pass in the Subordinate Accounts Service Examination or equivalent examination conducted by any one of the organised accounts department of the Central Government, OR Successful completion of training in cash and accounts work in the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management or an equivalent training course and three years' experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
Physical Training Instructor: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (BP Ed.) from any recognized University; and Two year's experience of imparting training in Physical Training or experience of Mountaineering or Hiking and conducting sports activities in a recognized college or National or State level institutions.
Offset Machine Men: 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board; Diploma in Printing Technology (Offset) from a recognized institution Two years' experience on Offset Machine doing single and multi color work from a recognized institute or Organisation.
Data Entry Operator: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application or Information Technology or Computer Science of a recognized University or Institute; and Speed of not less than 15000 key depression per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on computer. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a civil service training institute on public policy and public administration in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand in India. The academy's main purpose is to train civil servants of the IAS cadre and also conduct the Foundation Course of Group-A Central Civil Services. After completion of training, the trainee officers of IAS cadre are awarded an MA (Public Management) from Jawaharlal Nehru University. It has been functioning under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions since 1985.
On 15 April 1958, the then Union Home Minister Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant announced in the Lok Sabha, that the Government would set up a National Academy of Administration, where training would be given to all the recruits of the Civil Services. The Ministry of Home Affairs also decided to amalgamate the IAS Training School, Delhi and the IAS Staff College, Shimla to form a National Academy of Administration to be set up in Mussoorie in 1959.
