Educational Qualification:
Specialist Grade-II (Thoracic Surgery): MD/MS with M.Ch. (CTVS/Thoracic Surgery).
Medical Officer: MBBS (Desirable - PG Diploma/Degree in Chest, TB and Alllied Diseases).
System Analyst: M.Sc or M.Tech (Computer Application).
Driver: 10th Pass.

Pay Scale:
INR
Pay Level-2 to Pay Level-11 Per Month
Age Limit: Up to 45 years.
Application Fee: The completed application form should be accompanied by requisite non-refundable fee (Rs. 100/- only for Group A post and Rs. 50/- for Group C posts) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director, National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases” payable at New Delhi. There is no fees for SC/ST/PH/EWS & Woman candidates.

LRS TB Hospital was established by TB Association of India in 1952. The hospital was upgraded into an autonomous Institute in 1991 by Govt. of India. The Institute was renamed as LRS Institute of Tuberculosis & Respiratory Diseases under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
The Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare is the President of the Institute and the Union Secretary (Health & Family Welfare) is the Chairman of the Governing Body. Director General Health Services is the Vice-Chairman and the Additional Secretary (Health) is the Alternative Vice-Chairman of the Governing Body of the Institute. The Director is the Chief Executive Officer.
Aims and objectives of the hospital are To act as an apex Institute in the country for prevention, control and treatment of Tuberculosis and Allied Diseases; To promote National Tuberculosis Control Programme in the country and to formulate strategies which are socially acceptable and economically feasible in order to assist and strengthen the program.
