Educational Qualification:
Secretary:
(i) A University degree or an equivalent qualification.
(ii) Experience in staff management and administration and accounts of not less than 10 years in Group ‘A’ or equivalent posts or 15 years in Group “A” and Group ‘B’ or equivalent posts taken together, corresponding to Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ posts in Government of India. Desirable: Experience as organizer in the field of visual arts and use of computers in work.
Deputy Secretary (Administration & Accounts):
(i) A University degree or an equivalent recognized qualification.
(ii) Eight years experience in Accounts and Administration in a senior capacity, preferably in Government or Government Undertaking or autonomous organizations following rules similar to those in Government. Desirable: Graduate in commerce with at least 3 years experience of working in an organization engaged in the promotion of Visual & Plastic arts and with knowledge of using computers in work.
Regional Secretary:
(i) A University degree in Fine Art or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Institution or University.
(ii) Eight years experience in organising and conducting Art Exhibitions, camps, seminars and workshops. Desirable: Experience in Accounts, Administration and Stores and in preparing Budget in an established organisation.

Age Limit: Maximum 56 Years.

Lalit Kala Akademi (LKA) New Delhi, was established on 5th August 1954, is also known as National Academy of Art is India’s National Academy of Fine Arts. It’s an autonomous organization comes under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The main objective of Akademi is to encourage and promote study and research in the field of creative art such as painting, sculpture and graphics. They also encourage and coordinate the activities of the Regional Art Organizations and States.
The academy promote young artists and art associations and development of such Regional Art Centers by exchange of ideas between various school of art by organizing conferences, seminars, exhibitions on all India basis involving scholars and educationists and State Academies, Zonal Cultural Centers and Art Organizations like faculties of Art in Universities, Colleges and Schools, Art Museums Art Galleries and Art Associations.
