Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate (PG) qualification in Medicine or Surgery or Public Health and their branches, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI/NMC).
• Teaching and/or research experience of not less than 10 years in the field of Mental Health.
• 25 years of experience in the profession, with extensive practical and administrative experience in Medical Relief, Medical Education, or Public Health Organisation, and adequate experience in running an important scientific educational institute as Head or Head of Department.

• Officers from Central/State Autonomous Organisations, Research Institutions, or Universities:
• Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department, OR
• With 3 years' regular service in Pay Level-14 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
• Must fulfill the educational qualifications and experience as mentioned above.
