Project Junior Medical Officer, Project Technician III

Number of Vacancy: 4 Posts

Educational Qualification: B.Sc, MBBS, DMLT

The following posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis from willing eligible candidates for the below mentioned projects implemented by this institute as detailed thereon.

1. Post Name: Project Junior Medical Officer

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Name of the Project: Multi-centric prospective cohort study of TB recurrence-free cure among microbiologically confirmed new pulmonary tuberculosis patients treated under NTEP with the 4-month moxifloxacin-containing daily regimen.

4. Essential qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university and recognized with Delhi Medical Council.

5. Desirable Qualification: Aware of the latest guidelines in TB management. Conducted/involved in research projects Good communication skills Knowledge of Computer Applications and report writing.

6. Nature of Duties: Overall coordination of all project activities. Training of staff on study related procedures. Screening and enrolment of study participants. Ensuring retention of study participants Conducting field visits for participant recruitment, retrieval of participants, supervisory activities. Preparation of periodic reports. Any other work assigned by the Director/Principal Investigator.

7. Emoluments: Salary of Rs.60,000/- p.m.

8. Duration: Initially for a period of Six Months

2. No. of Post: 02

3. Name of the Project: Multi-centric prospective cohort study of TB recurrence free cure among microbiologically confirmed new pulmonary tuberculosis patients treated under NTEP with the 4-month moxifloxacin containing daily regimen.

4. Essential qualification: 12th Pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician OR PMW OR one year DMLT plus one recognized organization. year required experience in a OR Two years field/laboratory experience* in a Govt. recognized organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years' exnerience

5. Desirable Qualification: Aware of the latest guidelines in TB management. Conducted/involved in research projects Good communication skills Knowledge of Computer Applications and report writing.

6. Nature of Duties: Will be responsible for all field related activities that include screening and enrolment of study participants, taking consent, interviewing study participants, facilitating the required investigations, data collection and data entry. Ensuring retention of study participants by doing home visit/phone calls Counseling the participants regarding the study procedures. Performing any other study related activities delegated by Study Co-ordinator/Prinçipal Inyestigator

7. Emoluments: Consolidated salary Rs. 18,000/- p.m
