The official notification provides a department-wise breakup of 55 Senior Resident posts. The interview schedule is also given below. Note: Vacancies are subject to change.

Additional Notes: For MCh Paeds Surgery / DNB / MS (General Surgery) – 2 posts in Paediatric Surgery. For MCh Neurosurgery / DNB / MS (General Surgery) – may be allowed for Senior Resident in Neurosurgery.

✅ Eligibility Criteria – Lok Nayak Hospital SR Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification

• Essential: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree / DNB / Diploma or Post Doctoral Degree (or equivalent) in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognized university/institute. Preferably valid DMC registration for the concerned specialty/super-specialty.
• The tenure of the PG Degree/DNB/Diploma or Post Doctoral Degree must be completed and result declared before the date of interview.
• Non-PG candidates: If you do not hold the above qualification, you will be treated as a Non-PG Senior Resident and appointed for 44 days or until the post is filled with a PG-qualified candidate, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit

Maximum 45 years as on 01 July 2026.

Relaxation of Criteria

As per Government of NCT of Delhi circular No. F.No.121/26/2010/H&FW/1996-2045 dated 10.06.2011, in specialties with perpetual shortage of fresh candidates, candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency but are willing to continue may also appear. Separate merit lists will be prepared – fresh candidates list will be exhausted first. Appointments from the second list are for a maximum of one year only and not renewable.

Salary & Benefits – Senior Resident LNH 2026

Selected candidates will be paid as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-11 (₹67,700 – ₹208,700) along with usual allowances admissible per month. This is a sarkari job with job security, pension benefits (under NPS), and career growth opportunities in a government hospital under the Delhi Government.

Selection Process – Walk-in Interview Only

• Mode of selection is through interview only.
• No waiting list will be prepared; only a rank list will be released, valid till the next interview notice.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
