Educational Qualification: LLB
Applications are invited from the Indian citizens, domicile of Maharashtra for the following Posts of Law Officers, Gr. B on contract basis in the office of the Addl. Director General of Police, C.I.D. M. s. Pune. The prescribed pro-forma of application is enclosed herewith.
1. Position: Law Officer, Gr. B, CID, Pune
2. No of Posts: 01
3. Salary: Rs. 25000/-+ 3000/-
4. Education Qualification: Candidates must possess Degree of Law from any recognized |University, and having Certificate of registration to Bar-council of India (Sanad)
5. Experience:
a. Advocates having Legal practice of 5 years for Law officer Gr- B post
b. Candidates should have knowledge of Legal, Criminal, Service, & Administration, Departmental Enquiry matters and rules related for the same so that he will discharge legal responsibilities efficiently.
c. The candidates must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing skills for Marathi, Hindi and English languages.

Selection Procedure
Selection process would be of 75 marks in total, details of which are given below
a) Written exam 50 marks, Time 1 Hr. 15 Min. Part I- Descriptive paper 25 Marks (In this competence of the candidates to right down the draft of reply affidavit/ para-wise comments as the case may be, on the given topic to be submitted to the Hon'ble Courts will be tested)
b) Part-II-Objective Multiple Choice Questions 25 Marks In this knowledge of candidates of settled position of law and his competence to scrutiny and submit expert opinion to superior officers to facilitate them to take appropriate decision in matters related to service and submit charge sheet in Criminal cases, Anti Corruption cases, Cases under section under IPC and section197 of Cr.P.C. and MCOC Act would be tested)
b. Interview - 25 Marks.
