Maharashtra Animal And Fishery Science University (MAFSU) was established on 3rd December 2000, The University is one of the pioneer Institute related to Veterinary Research and Extension in Central India.

The vision & mission of University is to impart education, training and to conduct research in veterinary and Animal Science, Dairy Science and also to cater the needs of the farming community of the State of Maharashtra.
