Majhi Vasundhara Mission under Environment and Climate Change Department intends to shortlist eligible candidates for the proposed positions of (1) Climate Change and Sustainability Expert, (2) MIS Associate, (3) IEC Associate cum Content Writer and (4) Divisional Technical Expert at State Mission Directorate Office, Mumbai. Eligible candidates should apply online through given link only.

4. Educational qualification: Masters in mass communication/Journalism or equivalent postgraduate degree from recognised university
5. Skills Required: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or jointly in a self-directed way Interest & basic understanding of Environment & Climate Change related topics Excellent verbal and written communication skills Driven individual looking for ways to improvise oneself and projects therein.
6. Contractual Honorarium Rs 35,000/- per month
7. Experience: Min. 3 years & above experience Adequate working experience with government or bilateral agencies (preference will be given to candidates having experience of at least one year in content writing).

Selection Procedure
1. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the department committee.
2. The shortlisted candidates for the post at sr. no (1) to (3) will be posted at Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan, State Mission Directorate, Nariman Point, Mumbai and the post at sr no (4) is for Konkan, Nashik and Amravati Division. Therefore, selected candidate will be posted in those divisions.

Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) is implementing various environmental legislations in the state of Maharashtra, mainly including Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Water (Cess) Act, 1977 and some of the provisions under Environmental (Protection) Act, 1986 and the rules framed there under like, Biomedical Waste (M&H) Rules, 1998, Hazardous Waste (M&H) Rules, 2000, Municipal Solid Waste Rules, 2000 etc. MPCB is functioning under the administrative control of Environment Department of Government of Maharashtra.
