Educational Qualification: PG Diploma, MS/MD
1. Name of the Post: Medical Officer (Obstetrics & Gynecology)
2. No of Posts: 28
3. Eligibility:
(i) Possess M.B.B.S. degree of a statutory university or any other qualification specified in the First Schedule or Second Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (C-II of 1956); AND
(ii) Possess either:
(a) Post-graduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Surgery or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by the Medical Council of India with three years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or in Surgery, in a Rural or Cottage Hospital or a Hospital having capacity of atleast 30 beds, OR
(b) Post-graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Surgery and have five years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Surgery in Rural or Cottage hospital or a hospital having capacity of atleast 30 beds;
(iii) Provided that, preference may be givben to candidates having experience of teaching the subject or experience in family planning.
