Eligibility for Chief Technical Officer / In-charge Officer
- Essential Qualification (Option 1): Degree in Science with Chemistry or Bio-chemistry OR a degree in Food Technology or Food and Drugs (or equivalent qualification recognized by Govt. of India for appointment of Public Analyst under Section 8 of Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954).
- Experience (Option 1): Not less than ten years in the analysis of food, with six years working as a Public Analyst appointed under Section 8 of the said Act (gained after acquiring the qualification).
- Essential Qualification (Option 2): Post Graduate degree in Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Food and Drugs OR Associateship of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Analysis of Food (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Experience (Option 2): Not less than seven years in the analysis of food, with six years working as a Public Analyst appointed under Section 8 of the said Act (gained after acquiring the qualification).
- Engineering Qualification Alternative: Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation.
- Additional Experience: 10 years experience in the field of purchase, installation, commissioning, repairs and maintenance of medical equipment in a reputed organization.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
