Skills / Eligibility
Applications are invited for filling up the following posts in the above said College / Institute. 1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor 2. No of Post: 32 3. Pay Scale is as per rules. 4. Qualifications and Experience for Teaching Staff for UG Teachers: (a) Essential qualification- (i) A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognised under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970; and (ii) A Post-graduate qualification in the subject or specialty concerned included in the schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. b) Experience - For the Post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer: The age shall not exceed forty-five years at the time of first appointment and it may be relaxed for in-service candidates as per the existing rules. 5. Qualifications and Experience for Teaching Staff for PG Teachers: (a) Essential qualification- (i) A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University as recognised under the Act; (ii) a Post-graduate degree in the subject or specialty concerned included in the Schedules to the Act. b) Experience - For the post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer : at the time of first appointment, the age shall not exceed forty-five years and no teaching or research experience is required. 6. Qualification and experience for the Post of Head of Institution : The qualification and experience for the post of Head of the Institution (Principal or Dean or Director) shall be the same qualification and experience prescribed for the post of Professor.
