Educational Qualification: The qualifications for appointment of Principal in a College exclusively offering M.Ed./B.Ed./B.El.Ed. are in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and
Procedure) Regulations, 2014 and their subsequent amendments as adopted by the University of Delhi
Principal in a college exclusively offering M.Ed. / B.Ed. Courses:
For M.Ed. Courses
(i) Post Graduate degree in a related discipline.
(ii) M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks.
(iii) Ph.D. in Education.
(iv) Ten years of Professional experience in Teacher Education.
(v) A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS Publications.
(vi) A minimum of 110 Research Score.

For B.Ed. Courses
(i) Post Graduate degree in Arts/Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/Commercewith 55% marks, and
(ii) M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks, and
(iii) Ph.D. in Education or in any pedagogic subject offered in the institution, and
(iv) Eight years of teaching experience in a Secondary Teacher Education Institution.
(v) A minimum of 10 research publications in UGC Care List and SCOPUS Publications.
(vi) A minimum of 110 Research Score. Desirable: Diploma/ Degree in Educational Administration or Educational Leadership.

Pay Level-14 Per Month
