Educational Qualification (Essential):
- Professor: Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with 10 research publications and a total research score of 120. Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience, with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates. Alternatively, an outstanding professional from industry with a Ph.D. and 10 years of significant contribution.
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, Master's Degree with at least 55% marks, and a minimum of 8 years of teaching/research experience with 7 publications and a total research score of 75.
- Assistant Professor: Master's degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant subject, along with a cleared NET/SLET/SET or a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
Specific subject requirements for each post are detailed in the notification (Annexure-1). Qualifications are governed by UGC Regulations, 2018.
Experience:As per UGC Regulations, 2018. For Professor: 10 years; for Associate Professor: 8 years; for Assistant Professor: Experience is not mandatory but a Ph.D. or NET/SLET/SET is required.
Salary (Pay Scale as per 7th CPC):
- Professor: Level 14 (₹1,44,200 - ₹2,18,200)
- Associate Professor: Level 13A (₹1,31,400 - ₹2,17,100)
- Assistant Professor: Level 10 (₹57,700 - ₹1,82,400)
Selection Procedure: Screening of applications by a Screening Committee, followed by an Interview. For Professor and Associate Professor, the selection is based solely on interview performance.
Application Fee:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000 per position
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women/In-service MGAHV candidates: Exempted

Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya (MGAHV) is a central university located in Wardha, Maharashtra, India. It was established on October 2, 1997, which is the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, after whom the university is named.
The university was founded with the objective of promoting Hindi as an international language and spreading the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in various disciplines including Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Sociology, Political Science, Social Work, and Management.
