1. Position: Director(Technical)

2. Pay Scale: Rs. 160000-290000 (IDA)

3. Job Description And Responsibilities:

Director(Technical) is a member on the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director. He is responsible for overall supervision, coordination, planning and execution of various projects being undertaken by MECL. He is also responsible for achieving the physico-financial targets and completion of projects in a time bound and cost effective manner.

4. Qualification:

The applicant should be an Engineering graduate in Mining/ Mechanical Engineering/ Post Graduate in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics from a recognized University/ Institute with good academic record.

5. Experience: 

The applicant should have technical/ operational experience/ exposure for at least 5 years during the last 10 years at a senior level of management in Mining/ Drilling/ Exploration projects/ Contract & Construction/ Tech. consultancy service.

6. Duration: The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
