Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.Sc
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change requires services of suitable officers on deputation including short term contract basis to fill up the following posts: -
1. Name of the Post: Research Officer
2. No of Post: 07
3. Pay scale: Level 7 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 44,900- 1,42,400/-
4. Eligibility conditions: Officers under the Central Government /State Governments/ Union Territories /Recognised Research Institutions/ Universities/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations: -
(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department; or
(ii) With five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in Pay Band-2; 9300- 34800 Plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (Revised Scale: Level 6 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 35,400/- 1,12,400/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualification and experience: -
(i) Master's degree in Environmental Sciences/ Earth Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry/ Bio- Chemistry/ Bio-Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Environmental Sciences/ Bio-Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

Selection will be based on Deputation Basis.
