Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Consultant

• Essential Qualification:
  • The applicant should only be an Indian national.
  • The applicant should possess LLB from a University with a rating of at least A+ by NAAC.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience post LLB.
  • At least 2 years’ experience dealing with financial and legal matters associated with procurements and contracts, in companies or government departments engaged in the infrastructure space.
• Desirable Qualifications: Post LLB specialization in contract law, corporate law.
• Age Limit: Between 27 years and 45 years as on 23.12.2025.

Salary / Remuneration

• The remuneration package will be commensurate with the experience and profile of the selected candidate.
• Maximum monthly remuneration: Rs. 83,300/- (subject to deduction of applicable taxes).
• The fixed consultancy fee shall remain unchanged during the term of engagement.
• No HRA or any other regular employee benefits (PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical) are admissible.
• Paide leave of absence is allowed at the rate of 1.5 days for each completed month of service.

Selection Process

The Ministry of External Affairs will review the applications and shortlist candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview/written test. Date, time, and venue of the interview will be conveyed through email. The decision of the Government regarding the selection of the candidate will be final.
