Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Instructor - Electrician

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institution with 1 year experience OR 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Electrician trade with 3 years experience. Must possess National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Wireman

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institution with 1 year experience OR 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Wireman trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Workshop Calculation & Science

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institution with 1 year experience OR 3 years Diploma in Engineering with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC in any Engineering trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT OR Regular/RPL variants NCIC in RoDA or any of its variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Stenographer

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Commerce/Arts (with shorthand & Typing) from UGC recognized University with 1 year experience OR Diploma (Minimum 2 years) in Commercial Practice with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Stenographer Secretarial Assistant (English) trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Baker & Confectioner

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Hotel Management/Catering Technology/Food Technology from UGC recognized University with 1 year experience OR Diploma (Minimum 2 years) in Hotel Management/Catering Technology/Food Technology with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Baker & Confectioner trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Electronics

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institution with 1 year experience OR 3 years Diploma in Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics and Communication Engineering with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Electronics Mechanic trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - Carpenter

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from AICTE/UGC recognized institution with 1 year experience OR 3 years Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC passed in Wood Work Technician/Carpenter trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.

Eligibility for Instructor - COPA

• Essential: B.Voc/Degree in Computer Science/Computer Application/IT from AICTE/UGC recognized University with 1 year experience OR Post Graduate in Computer Science/IT from UGC recognized University or NIELIT B Level with 1 year experience OR PGDCA from UGC recognized University or NIELIT A Level with 2 years experience OR 3 years Diploma in Computer Science/IT with 2 years experience OR NTC/NAC in COPA or any IT-ITeS sector trade with 3 years experience. Must possess NCIC Regular/RPL variants under DGT.
• Desirable: Computer Proficiency as prescribed by Mizoram Group 'A', 'B' and 'C' posts Service/Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023. Mizo Language Proficiency is required (candidates who studied Mizo subject in Class-X (HSLC) or above within Mizoram or who opted for Mizo subject as MIL outside Mizoram are exempted from taking the qualifying test).

Selection Process

• Direct Recruitment Examination will be conducted by Mizoram Public Service Commission.
• Selection based on examination as per syllabus prescribed by the Commission.
• Qualifying test for Mizo Language Proficiency (unless exempted).
• Computer Proficiency as prescribed by Government.
• Final selection based on performance in recruitment examination.
