Applications are invited from candidates on a plain paper for the post of one Research Assistant to work in the time-bound Reckitt Benckiser, Gurgaon, Haryana (India) funded research project in Department of Zoology, M L S University, Udaipur, (Rajasthan).
1. Name of the Post: Research Assistant
2. No. of Post: One (01)
3. Minimum Qualification - Essential: M.Sc. Zoology (Entomology)/ M. Sc Agriculture (Entomology) from a recognized University or equivalent with at least 55% marks with at least one year research experience in the field of Medical Entomology and Mosquito handling.
4. Desirable:
a) Develop and conduct experimental studies with insects in controlled or natural surroundings.
b) Collect and analyze biological data and specimens.
c) Study the characteristics of insects, including interactions with other species and their environment, reproduction, population dynamics, diseases, and movement patterns.
d) Research, initiate, and maintain breeding programs for insects.
e) Estimate, monitor, and manage insect populations.
f) Write research papers, reports, and scholarly articles that explain findings.
g) Good Computer Knowledge with statistical tools.
h) Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
5. Fellowship/ Monthly Compensation: Rs. 35000/- Per month (Consolidated)
6. Name of The Project: Screening of new active compounds for bio-efficacy
7. Tenure: 18 months from starting date
