Important Note regarding Post Name
The selected candidates shall be initially engaged as "Drawing & Design Engineer (S&T)" and on completion of one year designated as "Senior Drawing & Design Engineer (S&T)" subject to satisfactory performance.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Drawing & Design Engineer (S&T)
- Essential Educational Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Science Engineering from a recognized institution; OR
- Diploma in Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Mechanical / Computer Science Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience:
- For Degree holders: Minimum 4 years in Railway Signalling.
- For Diploma holders: Minimum 7 years in Railway Signalling.
- Includes execution/supervision/preparation of Railway Signalling work.
- At least 2 years (Degree) or 4 years (Diploma) experience of Designing Railway Signalling Drawings with PMCs/Consultants/Contractors/OEMs.
- Desirable: Candidates having software skills such as Auto CAD and MS Office shall be preferred.
- Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 35 years as on the date of issue of Vacancy Notification.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on preliminary screening of applications, followed by document verification and interaction. Final selection will be based on merit considering performance in the interview, qualification, and post-qualification experience.
