Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Project Engineer (MEP)

• Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) with not less than 60% marks from a recognised (AICTE) University. If CGPA/OGPA is awarded, it must be converted to percentage as per university norms. Rounding off (e.g., 59.99%) is not acceptable.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in MEP in Government organization/Public Sector Undertaking or Public Limited Company as Project Engineer or equivalent as on the date of issue of the vacancy notification (05.01.2026).
• Desirable Skills: In-depth understanding of MEP Systems (HVAC, electrical power distribution, plumbing, water systems, storm drains, gas piping). Knowledge of tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Experience Certificate Requirements: Must be issued by a Public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 Crore and above in the last 3 financial years, listed on NSE or BSE, and incorporated at least 5 years prior to the date of issue.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Pay Scale: IDA Equivalent E1 grade Rs.40,000-1,40,000.
• Basic Pay: Rs.40,000/- per month.
• Allowances: Includes Dearness Allowance, Cafeteria of Allowances, House Rent Allowance, Consolidated Travelling Allowance, Provident Fund (employer's share).
• Other Benefits: Mobile phone, laptop, Sodexo meals as per policy. Medical facility and Leave as per corporation policy (8 days Casual Leave, 2 days Restricted Holidays, 10 days sick leave, 12 days special leave).
• Pay Protection: Available for candidates currently working in IDA E1 grade in relevant field.

Age Limit

The upper age should not exceed 30 years as on the date of issue of Vacancy Notification (05/01/2026).

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following stages:

1. Screening: Preliminary screening of applications received by mail.
2. Shortlisting: If applications exceed limits, candidates equal to 5 times the vacancies will be called based on engineering marks and experience.
3. Document Verification & Interaction: Eligible candidates will be called for verification and interaction.
4. Interview: By a nominated Committee. Selection is merit-based on interview performance, qualification, and experience.
5. Minimum Marks: Must qualify with minimum 60% marks in the personal interview.
6. Panel: A standby panel will be maintained for 2 years.

Important Instructions
