The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Resident (BDS) on a regular basis for a period of 6 months. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university.
• Internship: Must have completed the internship before 08.02.2024. (Candidates who completed internship before this date will NOT be considered).
• Registration: Must be registered with the Dental Council of India or State Dental Council.
• Date for Eligibility: Qualification and experience will be counted as on the date of interview (09.02.2026).

Age Limit

Age calculated as of 08.02.2026.

• UR & EWS: Not exceeding 40 years.
• OBC: Not exceeding 43 years.
• SC, ST: Not exceeding 45 years.
• PWD Candidates: Additional 10 years age relaxation.

Selection Process

The selection for Junior Resident (BDS) will be based on the following stages:

1. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates at the interview venue.
2. Personal Interview: Interaction with the selection committee.
3. Merit & Performance: Final selection strictly based on merit and interview performance.
4. Medical Examination: Candidates must be medically fit as per MCD guidelines.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Matrix Level - 10 plus usual allowances.
• Important Note: The appointee is NOT entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or accommodation available to regular government servants.
• Nature of Appointment: Regular Basis for 6 months.
