Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Technical Officer-II (Plant)

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant area from a recognized University/Institute plus 2 years of experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant area plus 5 years of experience.
  • Desirable Qualification: Graduate in Biotechnology/Bioprocessing/Biochemical Engineering/related area specialization.
  • Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Job Responsibilities: Assisting in pilot plant processing in R&D, scale up and down-streaming divisions.

Eligibility for Technical Officer-I (Plant)

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant area from a recognized University/Institute plus 1 year of experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant area plus 3 years of experience.
  • Desirable Qualification: Graduate in Biotechnology/Bioprocessing/Biochemical Engineering/related area specialization.
  • Age Limit: 30 Years
  • Job Responsibilities: Junior pilot plant specialist in R&D, scale up and downstreaming divisions.

Eligibility for Technical Officer-I (ICT)

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/MCA from a recognized University/Institute with 1 year of relevant experience OR Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science Engineering with 3 years of experience in the networking/communication field.
  • Desirable Qualification: Expertise in Database Development & Management/Networking/IT Management.
  • Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Job Responsibilities: Lead networking operator/database development and maintenance.

Eligibility for Project Manager (Communications)

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Mass Communication/Journalism from a recognized university OR equivalent Bachelor degree with four years of relevant experience in Academia/Industry/Government Sectors.
  • Desirable Qualification: Specialization in public relation.
  • Age Limit: 35 Years
  • Job Responsibilities: Public relation activity, communicate with industry as well as funding agency on regular basis plus improve visibility of the biofoundry. Product commercialization and advertising.

National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI) is the first Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, established in India on 18th February 2010. The institute aims at catalyzing the transformation of Agri-food sector in India. The institute has the vision to be a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science leading to value-added products based on Agri-Food biotech innovations. The main research focus of NABI is to harness biotechnological tools in the area of Agriculture Biotechnology, Food, and Nutritional Biotechnology so as to provide sustainable and novel solutions towards quality food and nutrition.
