National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna Central PSU, has invited online applications for the recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) in Mechanical, Electrical, and Chemical disciplines through GATE-2025. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical)

• Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD category.
• Prescribed Degree: Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: No prior experience required. Fresh graduates may apply.
• GATE Paper: Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Eligibility for Graduate Engineer Trainee (Electrical)

• Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with not less than 65% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD category.
• Prescribed Degree: Electrical Engineering/Power Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Experience: No prior experience required. Fresh graduates may apply.
• GATE Paper: Electrical Engineering (EE)

Eligibility for Graduate Engineer Trainee (Chemical)

• Essential Qualification: Full time regular Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or M. Tech. in Applied Chemistry with not less than 65% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD category.
• Prescribed Degree: Chemical Engineering/M. Tech. in Applied Chemistry
• Experience: No prior experience required. Fresh graduates may apply.
• GATE Paper: Chemical Engineering (CH)

Additional Eligibility Requirements (All Posts):

• Candidates must have qualified GATE-2025 examination with valid score.
• Final year students may also apply, but must pass with requisite percentage before the date of personal interview.
• Qualification must be from UGC recognised Indian University or AICTE approved courses.
• Upper age limit is 30 years as on 22/01/2026.

Salary / Stipend

During Training Period (1 Year):

• Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – 3% – ₹1,40,000/-
• Starting Basic Pay: ₹40,000/-
• Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), perquisites under cafeteria approach, bachelor accommodation, medical facilities, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and superannuation benefits.

After Absorption (Assistant Manager - E1 Grade):

• Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – 3% – ₹1,80,000/- with one additional increment.

Important Dates

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview based on their GATE-2025 marks and organizational requirement.
• Shortlisting ratio: 1:10 (category-wise).
• Final selection will be based on:
• GATE-2025 Marks: 90% weightage
• Personal Interview: 10% weightage
• Candidates must meet both eligibility criteria (academic qualification and GATE qualification) to be considered.

3. Fill the online application form with required details.
4. Payment: Pay application fee through SBI Collect:
• Select "Odisha" → "PSU- Public Sector Undertaking" → "NATIONAL ALUMINIUM COMPANY LTD".
• Choose appropriate Payment Category (GET Rectt- GATE 2025).
• Enter GATE Regd. No., Name, Discipline, Category, Date of Birth, Email ID, and Mobile No.
• Pay using Net Banking/Debit Card/UPI.
• Save the SBI Collect Reference Number.
5. Upload scanned copies of:
• Passport size photograph & signature
• GATE-2025 admit card
• GATE-2025 score card
• SBI collect e-receipt
6. Check all details carefully and submit the application.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Application Fee

• General, OBC & EWS Candidates: ₹500/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental Candidates: ₹100/-
• Payment can be made via Internet Banking, UPI, or Debit Card.
• Fee is non-refundable.

Service Agreement Bond

Selected candidates must execute a service agreement bond of ₹3,00,000/- (or ₹4,00,000/- for training abroad) to serve the company for a minimum period of 4 years after completing 1 year of training.

Medical Fitness

Selected candidates must undergo medical examination at Company's Hospital/Empaneled hospitals. Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit as per NALCO's norms.

• Final year students must complete their degree before the interview.
• Candidates working in PSU/Govt. organizations must produce NOC at the time of interview.
