Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Science or Engineering with atleast First Class or equivalent CGPA Grade as declared by University in the following subjects: Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology / Earth System Sciences / Geophysics / Remote Sensing / Applied Chemistry with Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology as major subject. OR Any Specialization of Electronics Engineering / Communication Engineering / Optical Engineering / Photonics / Instrumentation Engineering and Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / JAM / JEST with validity.
Pay Scale:
INR
37000-42000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years.

About National Atmospheric Research Laboratory
NARL is an autonomous research laboratory fully funded by the Department of Space, Government of India and involved in carrying out fundamental and applied research in Atmospheric and Space Sciences. It had its humble beginning in 1992 as the National Mesosphere-Stratosphere-Troposphere(MST) Radar Facility. Over the years several complementary techniques such as Rayleigh/Mie lidars, wind profilers have been added. NARL is administered by a Governing Council with Secretary, DOS as the Chairman and Director, NARL as member secretary. The Governing Council sets broad policy guidelines for NARL. A Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of eminent scientists in the field of atmospheric science, monitors the research activities and progress of NARL and provides future directions.
National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) was established in the year 1992. NARL is a Research Institute funded by the Department of Space. NARL is engaged in fundamental and applied research in the field of Atmospheric Sciences. Over the years many other facilities such as Mie/Rayleigh Lidar, Lower atmospheric wind profiler, optical rain gauge, disdrometer, automated weather stations etc. have been added. National Atmospheric Research Laboratory recruitment offers great career opportunities for several posts such as Scientist/ Engineer, Project Junior Research Fellow, Research Associates, Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
