Applications are invited for filling up of the post of Chairperson, National Biodiversity Authority, a body corporate under Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India with headquarters at Chennai (Tamil Nadu) in the fixed pay Level 17 i.e. Rs. 2,25,000/- per month (as per 7th CPC) with allowances as admissible under the Central Government Rules 1. Post Name: Chairperson 2. Pay Scale: Pay Level 17 i.e. Rs. 2,25,000/- per month (as per 7th CPC) 3. The post is proposed to be filled either on deputation basis or by selection from outside the Central Government. 4. In case the appointment is through deputation, the applicant should not be below the rank of Additional secretary to the Government of India as per the Recruitment Rules 5.
