Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
For Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
- Essential: Master's degree in Agricultural Economics/ Agricultural Extension with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's Degree.
- Alternative (if 3+2 years): Candidates with Post Graduate Degree (3 years Bachelors + 2 years Masters) must have NET Qualification and 2 years of research experience (as per ICAR/DST OM guidelines).
- Desirable: Exposure to international trade issues; Good communication skills; Proficient in handling datasets and standard economic research software.
For Young Professional-II (YP-II):
- Essential: Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics/ International Business from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Strong fundamentals in micro-economic theory, international trade, impact assessment, and econometrics. Good knowledge of MS Office, Stata, Data extraction, and management.
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
- SRF: Max 35 years (Men) and 40 years (Women) as on 16.02.2026.
- YP-II: Min 21 years and Max 45 years as on 16.02.2026.
Age Relaxation (Applicable to both):
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD/PH: 10 years
3. Mandatory Requirements
- The engagement is purely time-bound, contractual, and co-terminus with the project.
- No claim for regular appointment or absorption is permitted.
- Medical Fitness is required before final appointment.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on the following stages:
- Document Verification: Original certificates/degrees will be verified at the venue.
- Walk-in-Interview: Assessment of technical knowledge, communication skills, and research aptitude.
- Medical Examination: Candidates selected after the interview must pass a medical fitness test.
