Project Research Scientist, Project Technical Support, Consultant

Educational Qualification:
Project Research Scientist-II: MBBS degree from a recognized University / Institution with three years’ experience OR MBBS with MPH/PhD from a recognized University / Institution OR BDS with MPH/PhD from a recognized University / Institution OR MBBS + Post Graduate Degree (MD /MS in Community Medicine/ Pediatrics/ Pathology/ ObGyn), including the integrated PG degrees from a recognized University / Institution OR BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MDS), including the integrated PG degrees from recognized University / Institution.
Project Research Scientist-I: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology / Computer Science including the integrated PG degrees from recognized University / Institution OR Second Class Post Graduate Degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology / Computer Science including the integrated PG degrees with PhD from recognized University / Institution OR Engineering (B.E/B.Tech): First Class Graduate Degree of Four Years in Information Technology / Computer Science from recognized University / Institution.
Project Technical Support-III: Three Years Graduate in Statistics / Biostatistics from recognized University / Institution with three years experience OR Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics from recognized University / Institution.
Consultant (Scientific): Post Graduate Degree in Epidemiology/ Statistics/ Public Health including the integrated PG degrees with PhD from recognized University / Institution from a recognized University/ Institute. Research experience with published papers is appreciable. OR Retired Government employee with essential requisite educational qualification stated above drawing pay in the pay band Rs. 15600- 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- at the time of retirement and having at least 20 years of adequate working experience in the required domain/ field And Knowledge of Computer applications (MS word/ Excel/ Power point).
Pay Scale:

35,560-1,01,600/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years.

National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research broad and the overall objective is to sustain and develop a national research database on cancer, diabetes, CVD and stroke through recent advances in electronic information technology with a national collaborative network, so as to undertake aetiological, epidemiological, clinical and control research in these areas.
NCDIR Plans, directs, develops, supports, coordinates and evaluates a national programme of cancer surveillance involving the collection and analysis of reliable data on magnitude and patterns of cancer so as to answer key questions about cancer incidence and mortality in different population.

Interested candidates can pursue courses in Master’s Degree in Computer Application, Information Technology, Computer Science from recognized University OR B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology; Bachelors Degree in Statistics / Biostatistics and M.Sc Degree in Statistics / Biostatistics; Graduate in any subject; 12th pass in Science Stream with mathematics as a subject + speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer; 12th Pass + A typing speed of 35 WPM in English and 30 WPM in Hindi on computer OR 10500 key Depressions per hour in English /9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi.
