Educational Qualification:
Consultant (Science Museum Projects): 1st Class M.Sc or 1st Class B.E./B. Tech in Comp. Science/Mechanical/Electronics with 13 years’ experience or M. Tech/ M.E. / M.S. in Comp. Science/ Mechanical/Electronics or Ph. D (Science) with 11 years’ experience or Ph. D (Engineering) with 9 years’ experience.
Consultant (Administration): Persons having Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
Pay Scale:
INR
45000-55000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 63 Years.

Application Fee: Completed application, together with non-refundable fee of Rs.1180/- (Fees Rs. 1000/- + GST@18% i.e. Rs. 180/-) in the form of demand draft (No application fee for SC/ST and women candidates) drawn in favour of “National Council of Science Museums” payable at Kolkata.

The duly completed application in prescribed format along with self-attested copies of requisite certificates with regard to qualifications, work experience, PPO, Date of Birth, Caste Certificate (if applicable) should be submitted to the Section Officer (Admin), National Council of Science Museums, 33, Block-GN, Sector-V, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata-700091 so as to reach on or before 30.04.2025. Any application received after the due date and without enclosing the copies of certificates & testimonials will be rejected.

Today, it administers 25 Science Centres/Museums spread all over India. Science City, Kolkata, Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata, Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bangalore and National Science Centre, Delhi are National level centres of NCSM. All having its Regional centres and District Level Centres called Satellite Units (SUs).
