NDTL STO (IT) Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process

1. Who Can Apply? (Essential Qualification)

Only officers from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies are eligible.

• Current Post: Must be holding an analogous post on regular basis OR have 3 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400).
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / IT.
  • OR MCA or M.Sc. (IT) from a recognized university.
• Experience: 4 years of post-qualification experience in electronic data processing in a reputed organization.
  *(Experience must include: Data Administration, Website content management, Internet surfing, Handling bulk e-communications)*

2. Desirable Qualification

Experience in development & administration of e-Systems, software testing, installation, and upgrades.

3. Age Limit

Maximum 56 years as on the closing date (19/07/2026).

4. Selection Process

Selection will be purely on Deputation basis. No written exam or interview is mentioned. The candidature will be scrutinized based on documents forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority.
