Pay Scale Explanation: Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET Lectureship / Assistant Professorship, or GATE, or National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT, DST, or their agencies and institutions, will receive Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month. All other eligible candidates will receive Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – 1 Post

• Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing & GIS from a Recognized University.
• Age Limit: Upper age limit of 35 years, reckoned as on the last date of receipt of applications (14-10-2026).
• Result-Awaited Candidates: Only candidates who have acquired the essential qualification and whose result has been declared with at least a provisional certificate are eligible. Result-awaited, final-semester appeared, or Ph.D. submitted candidates are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be conducted through an Interview conducted online via MS Teams / Skype or similar platforms.
• The interview date will be notified separately on the official CSIR-NEERI website (www.neeri.res.in).
• Selected candidates are expected to join within the time frame mentioned in the offer letter after pre-appointment formalities including medical examination and character verification.
• Selected candidates shall sign an undertaking for maintaining confidentiality of project findings and associated intellectual property information.
