Educational Qualification: Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject as a medium of examination at degree level OR Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at degree level. OR Master's degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English but with Hindi or English as a compulsory or elective subject or with either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level. and (ii) Recognised Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Govt. of India undertaking
Pay Scale:
INR
9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Age Limit: 56 years.

It is requested that the application in the given proforma in Annexure-II along with the complete and up-to-date copies of Confidential Report Dossiers of the applicants who are eligible as per the eligibility criteria and can be spared in the event of their selection may be sent to the undersigned at the earliest. Applications received after the last date or without the copies of Confidential Report Dossiers or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. While forwarding the application, it may be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the applicants are correct. Along with the application vigilance clearance and integrity, a certificate may also be furnished.

The National Film Archive of India (NFAI) Pune was established in the year 1964 under the unit of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Its provides safeguard to the Heritage of Indian Cinema for posterity and act as a Centre for dissemination of a healthy film culture in the Country. The National Film Archive of India (NFAI), made all efforts to make the information as accurate as possible.
The prime objective & Function of National Film Archive of India (NFAI), is to classify and document data related to film and undertake research on cinema the Center function for the dissemination of Film Culture in the Country and to promote Indian Cinema in Abroad.
The National Film Archive of India (NFAI), conducts short term courses on similar line at various Center in the Country in collaboration with Film Societies, Educational Institutions and various Cultural Organisation in field like Film Organisers, Film Critics Analysis & Study, Journalists, Film Researchers, Officials Handling films and other interested in Film Study.
