Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification

• Candidates with UG degree with minimum 7 years of full-time experience OR those with PG degree with minimum 5 years of full-time experience in industry and/or academics.
• Either of the two (PG or UG degree) should be in design.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years for PG degree holders.
• Minimum 7 years for UG degree holders.
• Experience must be in industry and/or academics.
• For Entrepreneurs/Freelancers: Must submit IT returns for last three consecutive years and company registration copy is mandatory.
• Service Break: For any break in service, justifiable reasons may be mentioned.

Level-wise Eligibility

• Level VIII (25+ years experience): Rs. 8,000/- per full day (6 hrs) session + Rs. 1,200/- food allowances (incl. GST)
• Level VII (20 to 25 years experience): Rs. 7,000/- per full day session + Rs. 1,000/- food allowances
• Level VI (15 to 20 years experience): Rs. 6,000/- per full day session + Rs. 900/- food allowances
• Level V (10 to 15 years experience): Rs. 4,500/- per full day session + Rs. 800/- food allowances
• Level IV (5 to 10 years experience): Rs. 3,500/- per full day session + Rs. 700/- food allowances
• Level III (Master Craftsman/Artisan - 10+ years): Rs. 3,000/- per full day session + Rs. 700/- food allowances
• Level II (Co-faculty only - Up to 5 years): Rs. 3,000/- per full day session + Rs. 700/- food allowances
• Level I (Artisan/Craftsman - Up to 10 years): Rs. 1,500/- per full day session + Rs. 700/- food allowances

Salary/Stipend

• Honorarium is paid based on experience levels (Level I to VIII).
• Food allowances are included as specified per level.
• Travel and accommodation arranged by institute at Jorhat.
• Reimbursement for intracity travel expenses when using public transport.
• Payment credited after completion of evaluation process and certification from anchor faculty and Discipline Lead.

Important Dates

Selection Process

• The Institute will conduct an interview through a committee.
• A panel will be drawn in each discipline for which VF is to be engaged as per Institutional requirement.
• Any empanelled candidate recommended by the Selection Committee may be required to deliver lectures as per requirements of Institutions.
• Decision of the committee will be final for selection of candidates.
• In case of any dispute or discrepancy, the decision of the Director, NID Assam, shall be final.
