Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech, MS
Applications only by email are hereby invited form Indian nationals for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a DST-SERB funded sponsored research project titled "Development of Nanostructured TiB2 dispersed AA7010 filter rod by ARB for weld microstructure refinement under G TAW process of AA7010" under Dr. Ajit Kumar Pramanick, Assistant Professor [Dept. of Forge Technology].
i. There is no application fee for this recruitment. Details of the position are given below.
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. No of Post: 01
3. Duration: Maximum up to three years (co-terminus with the project)
4. Salary: Rs.31,000/- per month for first 24 months and 35,000/- for subsequent months subject to satisfactory performance.
5. Qualification:
M. Tech. / ME / MS in Mechanical Engineering / Production and Industrial Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering / Foundry and Forge Technology / Manufacturing Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6.75/10 CGPA at both BE / B. Tech. and M. Tech. / ME / MS. AND Qualified in GATE or any other equivalent national level examination.
6. Desirable: Knowledge of arc welding

Selection Procedure
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail for personal interview which may be conducted physically in the Institute or through online video conferencing (Google Meet/Microsoft Team).
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Selection will be made based on career evaluation and/or performance in the interview.
