Educational Qualification: MCA
It is proposed to engage 1 (One) Network Administrator on contract basis under Centre of Health Informatics (CHI) project. The duration of the appointment will be initially for a period of one year. The detail of the position is given below:
1. Name of the Post: Network Administrator
2. No. of the Post: 1 (One)
3. Salary: Rs. 95,000/ - (Rupees Ninety five thousand only) per month
4. Essential Qualification and Experience:
(i) Postgraduate: MCA in any specialization
(ii) Experience: Post Qualification Experience of minimum 8 years in the area of networking/ related field in any government / autonomous organization.
5. Desirable: Knowledge of some documentation work like Preparation of Proposals, noting drafting etc.
6. Job Responsibilities:
(i) Install and configure software, hardware and network.
(ii) Monitor system performance and trouble shoot issues
(iii) Management of Network security
(iv) Handling of multiple operation system
(v) Work related to enterprise backup and recovery procedures
(vi) Work related to cloud computing (specifically NIC cloud and open source technologies)
(vii) Active directory management related work
(viii) Inventory Management
Pay Scale:

95000(Per Month)
Age Limit: Upper Limit 45 years (on the date of interview)
Selection Will be Based either Written Exam/Interview
1. An application duly filled in all respect is to be submitted online to the email id @ [email protected] latest by 7/2/2022 upto 5.00 p.m. and the self-attested copy of the same has to be produced at the time of interview.
2. Applications must be submitted in the attached format only.
3. Applications must be duly supported by self-attested documents related to age, educational qualifications and experience etc.
4. The candidates are required to submit their application with a subject “Application for the post of Network Administrator (On Contract basis)”.
5. Applications received in the format other than as attached and without supported documents will not be considered and shall be rejected summarily.
6. The candidature of finally selected candidate’s will be provisional and subject to verification of original documents.
7. The NIHFW reserves the right to either fill up the post, or not, without assigning any reason.
8. The application and self-attested copies of certificates so submitted at the time of verification will not be returned to candidates.
9. Candidates must ensure that he/she fulfils the requisite essential qualifications, experience and age etc. on the date of submission of filled application form.
10. Without original certificates, the candidates will not be considered for appointment. In all cases the decision of this Institute shall be treated as final.
11. Canvassing of any form will render candidate as disqualified.

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), was established on 9th March, 1977 by the merger of two national level institutions, viz. the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP). The NIHFW, an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, acts as an ‘apex technical institute’ as well as a ‘think tank’ for the promotion of health and family welfare programmes in the country.
The Institute addresses a wide range of issues on health and family welfare from a variety of perspectives through the departments of Communication, Community Health Administration, Education and Training, Epidemiology, Management Sciences, Medical Care and Hospital Administration, Population Genetics and Human Development, Planning and Evaluation, Reproductive Bio-Medicine, Statistics and Demography and Social Sciences.
