The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services, consultancy and advisory service.
i. The following posts need to be filled up for awarded “Impact of Behavioral Intervention Package on the health status of married abused pregnant women attending antenatal clinic of LN Hospital, New Delhi – A randomized controlled trial project in NIHFW on contractual basis. The duration of the appointment will be initially for a period of three months.
1. Position: Bio Statistician
2. No. of Post/s: 1
3. Monthly remuneration in Rs. : Rs.50,000/-p.m.
4. Essential: Post graduation degree in Statistics / Population Studies
5. Desirable: Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in conducting large scale survey at the national level. Experience in data management and data analysis quantitative and qualitative software and also report writing.
6. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical support to the core team. Compile and analyze the data with interpretation for the report. Undertake any other tasks / activities as assigned by the Project Head.

2. No. of Post/s: 1
3. Monthly remuneration in Rs. : Rs.50,000/-p.m.
4. Essential: Post graduation degree in Social Sciences
5. Desirable: Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in compilation, writing report and scientific article.
6. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical support to the core team. Conducting in depth analysis of qualitative data, Compile and analyze the data with interpretation for the report. Undertake any other tasks / activities as assigned by the Project Head.

No.2, Academic Block, NIHFW, New Delhi-110067 along with detailed CV as per performa enclosed and self-attested copies of age proof, photo ID proof, qualifications and experience certificates failing which they will not be considered for registration

3. Candidates are requested to download the attached format and bring with him/her duly filled in all respect alongwith xerox copy of the Certificates / Proof of Age, Qualification, Experience and residential proof etc.

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), was established on 9th March, 1977 by the merger of two national level institutions, viz. the National Institute of Health Administration and Education (NIHAE) and the National Institute of Family Planning (NIFP). The NIHFW, an autonomous organization, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, acts as an ‘apex technical institute’ as well as a ‘think tank’ for the promotion of health and family welfare programmes in the country.
The Institute addresses a wide range of issues on health and family welfare from a variety of perspectives through the departments of Communication, Community Health Administration, Education and Training, Epidemiology, Management Sciences, Medical Care and Hospital Administration, Population Genetics and Human Development, Planning and Evaluation, Reproductive Bio-Medicine, Statistics and Demography and Social Sciences.
