Applications are invited on or before 18th February, 2022 up to 5.00 p.m. from eligible candidates for the following vacancies under the ICMR-Extra Mural project “Strengthening of ICMR-MRUs: Establishment of Autoimmune Diagnostic Laboratories for early detection and management of Autoimmune Disease and Empowering MRUs for research in autoimmunity ” and project “Comprehensive Genomic and Functional Evaluation of factors influencing CAD and Myocardial Infarction in Young Patients ” to be filled at ICMRNIIH, Mumbai.

ICMR-National Institute of Immunohaematology was established in the year 1957 with an aim to conduct multidisciplinary research related to Immunohaematology offer diagnostic services and provide training to medical and non-medical professionals in the field of haematology, Immunology, genetics and conduct awareness programmes on haematological disorders.
The main objectives of the institute include conducting research on blood-related disorders and diseases, developing new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for these conditions, and providing training and education to researchers and healthcare professionals.
The NIIH is also involved in the collection and storage of rare blood samples for research purposes and in the creation of a national database of blood donors.
The institute has a team of highly skilled and experienced researchers who work on various aspects of immunohematology, including blood group genetics, transfusion medicine, and stem cell transplantation.
