Under the project : “Development / and validation of Artificial Intelligence Tool for Screening/detection of Pulmonary TB and other lung diseases using Chest X-rays ‘’ at Mumbai.
1. Position: Scientist C (BioMedical)
2. No. of Vacancy: 3 Posts
3. Emoluments: Rs. 51000 + 6660 HRA p.m.
4. Essential Qualification: MBBS
5. Desirable Qualification: MD (Pediatrics/ Medicine/Chest medicine/Radiology
6. Job responsibilities: Screening of patients from Chest clinic for prospective enrolment in the study under supervision of site PI and ensuring the eligibility of participants.
7. Duration: Upto 29.03.2023

2. No. of Vacancy: 3 Posts
3. Emoluments: Rs.31,000 p.m.
4. Essential Qualification: Graduate in life science subjects with three years of relevant experience
5. Desirable Qualification: Masters in life sciences/ computer science with relevant experience
6. Job responsibilities: Assist scientist and site PI in project activities. Uploading of clinical data and annotated Xrays into the system. Ensuring patient investigation reports are available on follow-up
7. Duration: Upto 29.03.2023

ICMR-National Institute of Immunohaematology was established in the year 1957 with an aim to conduct multidisciplinary research related to Immunohaematology offer diagnostic services and provide training to medical and non-medical professionals in the field of haematology, Immunology, genetics and conduct awareness programmes on haematological disorders.
The main objectives of the institute include conducting research on blood-related disorders and diseases, developing new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for these conditions, and providing training and education to researchers and healthcare professionals.
The NIIH is also involved in the collection and storage of rare blood samples for research purposes and in the creation of a national database of blood donors.
The institute has a team of highly skilled and experienced researchers who work on various aspects of immunohematology, including blood group genetics, transfusion medicine, and stem cell transplantation.
