Applications are invited on or before 17th December, 2021 up to 5.00 p.m. from eligible candidates for the following vacancy under the ICMR-Extramural project “Congenital Dyserythropoietic Anemias: Molecular Diagnosis and Diagnostic Approach in a Cohort of Indian Patients ” to be filled at ICMR- NIIH, Mumbai. About National Institute of Immunohaematology

ICMR-National Institute of Immunohaematology was established in the year 1957 with an aim to conduct multidisciplinary research related to Immunohaematology offer diagnostic services and provide training to medical and non-medical professionals in the field of haematology, Immunology, genetics and conduct awareness programmes on haematological disorders.

The main objectives of the institute include conducting research on blood-related disorders and diseases, developing new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for these conditions, and providing training and education to researchers and healthcare professionals.

The NIIH is also involved in the collection and storage of rare blood samples for research purposes and in the creation of a national database of blood donors.

The institute has a team of highly skilled and experienced researchers who work on various aspects of immunohematology, including blood group genetics, transfusion medicine, and stem cell transplantation.
