National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was founded in 1963 as a collaborative effort between the Government of India and International Labour Organization. NITIE prepares students for a seamless induction into industry and academia by blending management principles and technical skills. NITIE has been providing the solutions to the complex problems of industries. Currently NITIE has Five research areas, Three Postgraduate programs and a fellow program. Further details at www.nitie.ac.in 1. Post Name: Project Research Assistant / Associate 2. Project Title: Building Innovation, Start-up and Entrepreneurial Eco-System at NITIE 3. Essential Qualifications & Experience: a) The ideal candidate for this post is preferably a bachelor’s in engineering/technology (with relevant work experience) or master’s in engineering / science / management / or Ph.D. in any field of science/engineering/social science. b) The candidate should have computer skills and good communication skills. c) Candidate may have knowledge of Intellectual Property Right / Entrepreneurship / Start-up / Incubation. 4. Job Profile: The selected candidate will be engaged in working towards project objectives, solving the social/industrial problems, creating inventions, organizing events, helping the innovation teams, startup teams, data collection, data analysis & report writing. 5. Remuneration: The maximum salary will be Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated). The amount will be fixed based on the qualifications (including educational as well as work experience) and recommendation of the selection committee. 6. The employment is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project. The appointment will be a period of 6 months which may be extended for another 6 months at the discretion of the principal investigator of the project
