Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up the following posts on contract basis in the Global Efforts on Covid Health Research (GECO), UK funded project entitled “COVID19 Neurological Disease: A Prospective Case Control Study in Brazil, India, and Malawi” – under Dr.Anita Desai, Professor & Head, Dept. of Neurovirology and Principal Investigator.
1. Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
2. No. of Post: 02
3. Qualification: Master’s degree in Virology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology
4. Desirable: Prior hands-on experience of working in the areas of Infectious diseases. Prior work experience of 1-2 years in serology and molecular Biology lab settings.
5. Salary: Rs.30,000/- P.M (consolidated)
6. Work location: Positions will be based at NIMHANS, Bengaluru
7. Duration of the post: 06 Months Extendable based on the performance of the candidate

2. No. of Post: 01
3. Qualification: BSc MLT
4. Desirable: Minimum two years hands on experience in clinical diagnostic laboratory (Microbiology/Virology) Experience in blood collection from patients.
5. Salary: Rs.20,000/- P.M (consolidated)
6. Work location: Positions will be based at NIMHANS, Bengaluru
7. Duration of the post: 06 Months Extendable based on the performance of the candidate.

Pay Scale: INR 20000 - 30000(Per Month)
