Educational Qualification:
Senior Research Officer: MBBS, MPH, MD in Community Medicine, Ph.D. in Public Health/ Community Medicine. Desirable: Experience in working in the community, experience in working in a cohort or longitudinal study, should be conversant in reading and writing in Kannada language, NUDI, and BARAHA software. Should have proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, statistical software packages, etc. Proficiency in manuscript/scientific writing is also desirable. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking local languages, especially Kannada. Be able to train data collectors in the local language.
Senior Statistician: Ph.D. in Biostatistics or statistics or applied statistics/M.Sc. Biostatistics or statistics or applied statistics/Masters or PostDoctoral degree in demography. Desirable: 5 years of work experience, experience in working with large data sets, experience working with longitudinal or cohort data, being able to perform high-end statistical analysis like survival analysis and longitudinal data analysis, Proficient in statistical packages like STATA, SPSS, and R. Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking local languages, especially Kannada. Be able to train data collectors in the local language.

Selection Procedure
